RONALD A. SUMMERS, MD
Sports Medicine
Dr. Summers joined the practice in
August of 1997. He received his
Bachelor of Arts degree in Human
Biology at Stanford University in Palo
Alto, California. He received his MD
degree from the University of Kansas
School of Medicine, and completed his
residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at
The San Francisco Orthopaedic
Residency Program in San Francisco,
California. He completed a one-year
fellowship in Sports Medicine at The
Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Summers practices General
Orthopaedics and has a special
interest in sports-related injuries. He is
the team physician for Enloe and
Middle Creek High Schools. His wife
Jami stays busy with two girls and two
boys at home. He enjoys playing roller
hockey and all sports.
